Communication in a Crisis—Are You Prepared?

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The day a student brought a loaded gun to school and aimed it at a teacher was a game-changer for the North Scott Schools. The crisis spurred school leaders into immediate action—which included critical communication with key shareholders. However, the demand for effective internal and external communication continued following the traumatic incident. In this session you’ll hear the story of that day and what followed, what went well, and what district leaders would do differently today. Session facilitators will share lessons learned, and you will leave with vital insights to consider back at your board tables.
